Kitchen Notice Board

I wanted to make a kitchen notice board that did several things. I wanted it to make a blackboard, pin board, hooks and a towel rail. 

I started by getting some plywood cut down to the size I wanted then I got one half of it painted black. The other half I added some self adhesive cork tiles. 

I wanted a frame around my notice board so I got some oak cut to size and added a nice curve at either end. This then got attached around the plywood. 

For the towel rail I bent some brass bar but one could be purchased and added. Next to the rail I attached some matching brass hooks.
