Handmade Bath Tray For Mothers Day

With Mothers Day approaching I wanted to make a handmade gift for her. She is a big fan of relaxing in a nice hot bath so I thought I would make a wooden bath tray for her. 

I had this old piece of wood that came out of a pub cellar. I used to have barrels of ale resting on it. The old cast iron bandsaw came in very handy to rip it down into usable bits of wood. 

I cut curves on the ends so it would hook over the bath. 

So that any water could drain out of it, I drilled a grid of holes into the bottom. This is functional but I also like the look of it.
